Empowering Compassion: SKRECC Employees Help Brighten Ronald McDonald House

South Kentucky RECC employees demonstrated their commitment to community recently by dedicating their day and lending a helping hand at the Ronald McDonald House, spreading warmth beyond just electricity.

With buckets of enthusiasm and a zest for community service, employees volunteered to clean up the landscaping outside the Ronald McDonald House of the Bluegrass alongside other Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives. Their efforts echoed the cooperative spirit that powers both their work and their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Co-op employees volunteer to help out year-round by providing meals, restocking supplies, cleaning and decorating the Houses for the holidays. South Kentucky RECC will host its annual Wish List Drive this summer to collect much-needed items such as food and cleaning supplies for the Houses. Ronald McDonald House Charities create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and to strengthen families by keeping them together in times of medical need.
