It's also important that we offer additional value that has a positive impact on everyone in the community. After all, South Kentucky RECC's mission is to "reliably provide electricity and related services to our members at a competitive price, and to improve the quality of life in their communities."
That's why we participate in Co-op Connections, a program that helps you receive discounts on products and services from local and national businesses, discounts on prescriptions, and Healthy Savings discounts on vision, lab and imaging, dental, hearing, and chiropractic sevices.
What is the Co-op Connections program and who will benefit? It's a free, card-based benefit program offering for co-op members and participating businesses. Each member of South Kentucky RECC is eligible for a Co-op Connections card. Whenever a Co-op Connections cardholder, like yourself, shows the Connections card at a participating business, you will receive a discount. There's nothing else to remember.
And the program isn't just a great reward for our members; it is a "win-win" situation for the community. The card not only helps our members, but local businesses as well by providing opportunities for name recognition, exposure, and increasing their number of repeat customers, since co-op members will routinely seek out those participating businesses to save money.
Whether you're planning a trip out of town or just a night on the town, you can go online to www.connections.coop to see a list of participating businesses. This online resource will provide details about national discounts, as well as local Co-op Connections programs across the country. Searchable by zip code and by cooperative name, you will be able to find discounts at home or anywhere you travel, 24 hours a day.
While our number-one priority is to keep the lights on, South Kentucky RECC is committed to bringing additional value to our members and all of the communities that we serve. The Co-op Connections program is just another way to accomplish that goal. That's the cooperative difference.
