South Kentucky RECC members will be able to take part in the 2025 Board of Directors election by voting for the District 1 seat. This year’s election will be conducted through both online and in-person options, with Survey & Ballot Systems serving as the trusted third-party administrator to ensure a secure and transparent process.
Online voting opens at 12:01 a.m. on May 23, 2025, and remains available until 11:59 p.m. on June 6, 2025. To vote online, members should log in to their South Kentucky RECC account and select the “VOTE NOW” icon. They will be directed to a secure platform where they can cast their vote. Please note that once a vote is submitted, it cannot be changed or re-submitted.
For those who prefer to vote in person, South Kentucky RECC will offer convenient drive-thru voting during its annual Membership Days. Voting at these locations will be done electronically using iPads—no paper ballots will be used. Drive-thru voting will be available at the Monticello and Albany district offices on June 10, the Jamestown and Whitley City offices on June 11, and the Somerset office on June 12. All voting locations will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
All South Kentucky RECC members are eligible to vote in the election, regardless of which district they live in. Each member account is entitled to one vote, which can be cast either online or in person—but not both. Members may vote for any candidate listed on the ballot, even if that candidate represents a district different from their own.
The election results will be reviewed and certified within one to two days following the close of in-person voting on June 12, 2025. Newly elected board members will officially assume their roles at the July 2025 meeting of the South Kentucky RECC Board of Directors.
